On June 20th, following the successful conclusion of the 10th Guangdong International Aquatic Products Exposition 2024, the 2nd Global Seafood (Shrimp) Trade Festival 2024 and Liangzhilong·4th China Cantonese Cuisine Ingredients E-commerce Festival grandly opened in Area D of the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou.

The innovative "one exhibition, two cities" model is a major highlight of this Global Seafood (Shrimp) Trade Festival. The exhibition focuses on aquatic products and the export of Chinese cuisine. By being held in succession in the two cities of Zhanjiang and Guangzhou, it allows production enterprises, distributors, as well as foreign buyers and sellers to plan their schedules more reasonably, further connecting the trade ecological chain between these two key aquatic product cities.

Leveraging Cantonese pre-cooked meal ingredients, the combination of Liangzhilong·China Cantonese Cuisine Ingredients E-commerce Festival and Global Seafood (Shrimp) Trade Festival gradually focuses on the export of Chinese cuisine and seafood and aquatic products trade. This partnership is deeply connected with Zhanjiang, the city of aquatic products, further consolidating the position of the leading professional ingredient supply chain exhibition for aquatic products and seafood, especially shrimp.

In terms of internationalization and global trade, the exhibition has opened a new chapter. The 2nd Global Seafood (Shrimp) Trade Festival 2024 and Liangzhilong·4th China Cantonese Cuisine Ingredients E-commerce Festival attracted over 600 exhibitors from different countries and regions worldwide. Special seafood products, especially shrimp, from more than ten countries such as Ecuador, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, Russia, Argentina, Canada, Sweden, and Iceland, were all showcased at the exhibition.

Liangzhilong·4th China Cantonese Cuisine Ingredients E-commerce Festival 2024 exhibited over ten thousand high-quality and popular ingredients, including various aquatic (seafood) products, poultry products, high-end beef and mutton, pork, and other fresh and frozen meat cuts, pre-cooked meal ingredient series, refined aquatic product ingredient series, seasoned and flavored foods, equipment and facilities for ingredient processing, storage, and packaging, etc.

Apart from product exhibitions, the festival also stood at the commanding heights of the domestic shrimp industry in terms of industry trend seminars, connecting the industry ecosystem and hosting heavyweight forums, conferences, competitions, and other events. It brought the latest aquaculture technology and food industry dynamics. The on-site training courses for the export of Chinese cuisine helped domestic aquatic product and food companies more smoothly enter the overseas stage and explore broader markets.

Global elites gathered, and the grand ceremony of global seafood trade set off again.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Cao Derong, President of the China Food and Native Produce Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Cui He, President of the China Aquatic Products Processing and Marketing Association, Ms. Fei Chun'an, Agricultural Consul of the Agricultural Trade Office of the U.S. Consulate General in Guangzhou, Mr. José Antonio Camposano, Chairman of the Ecuadorian Aquaculture Association, and Mr. Zhu Changliang, Founder of the Liangzhilong·China Food Ingredients E-commerce Festival and Chairman of Wuhan Liangzhilong Food Ingredients Co., Ltd., delivered speeches respectively, congratulating the grand opening of the 2024 Global Seafood (Shrimp) Trade Festival. The branch will primarily absorb leading enterprises in the processing, circulation, and trade of domestic food ingredients, expand its membership, continue to serve as a bridge between the government and enterprises, and create advantages in platforms and channels for trade and circulation. On the one hand, focusing on the internationalization of Chinese cuisine, it will open up new channels for Chinese cuisine ingredients to go overseas, bringing new overseas development opportunities for domestic food ingredient enterprises; on the other hand, it will actively coordinate and promote the facilitation and standardization of food ingredient import trade, ensuring and enhancing the quantity and quality of domestic food ingredient consumption.
